In addition to this:

The Scottish FA (North Region) are holding a FEMALE ONLY Laws of the Game Awareness Course on Wednesday 25th March at Aberdeen Sports Village, 6-9pm.

This course is for anyone interested in becoming a referee but also for all coaches and parents involved in the small sided game i.e. 4v4s or 7v7s. If you are involved in football, this course would be useful to:

1. Introduce you to the Laws of the Game that link to the National Player Pathway and are relevant to children’s football in Scotland.
2. To provide you with a better understanding of the role of the referee in football.
3. To equip you with the knowledge you need to be an effective referee / match supervisor in children’s football in Scotland.
4. To have more knowledgeable people supervising small sided games and educating the young players.

The course should last for approximately 3hrs and by the end you will be a category 8 referee.

If you would be interested in attending please myself via email BY FRIDAY 20TH MARCH: north@scottishfa.co.uk with your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, date of birth and School/Club. Please clearly state which course you wish to enrol on.
